Yay! Another Playing for Change event our kids took part in was a BIG success.
THIRD time for kids to join other musicians and raise money for this great cause.
You are asking what cause?
This month musicians all over the world (in 50 countries) hold concerts and music events to raise money for less privileged musically talented kids and youngsters to pay for their instruments and music lessons. Don't you think it's a cause worth joining?
(You can read and see photos from previous Playing for Change events HERE and HERE.)
This year Playing for Change organised for youngsters in Taipei, Taiwan by the Stage Time and Juice at Red Room took place last Sunday, September 4th and the event for adults will take place on Sept. 17th. The worldwide Playing for Change activities are scheduled for Sept. 24th.
Take a look at the intro for the worldwide events:
Play the video below to listen to Jaś playing one of the tunes:
(sorry for the not so good quality of the videos, but my camera is misbehaving...)
This next video is of Ania and Zosia singing. It was first time for Ania to sing (almost) by herself in front of so many people. (In November she helped Zosia sing and this time it was Zosia helping her. :-) )
This year the donations for Playing for Change charity reached ... NT$18,572, that's almost USD600. I bet next year we'll do even better!
