Playing for Change 2016

Yay! Another Playing for Change event our kids took part in was a BIG success. THIRD time for kids to join other musicians and raise money for this great cause. You are asking what cause? This month musicians all over the world (in 50 countries) hold concerts and music events to raise money for less privileged musically talented kids and youngsters to pay for their instruments and music lessons. Don't you think it's a cause worth joining? (You can read and see photos from previous Playing for Change events HERE and HERE .) This year Playing for Change organised for youngsters in Taipei, Taiwan by the Stage Time and Juice at Red Room took place last Sunday, September 4th and the event for adults will take place on Sept. 17th. Playing for Change Day 2015

Last Saturday we took part in the 5th Annual Playing for Change Day at the Stage Time and Juice at Red Room in Taipei.  If you don't know what Playing for Change is all about just watch the video below :-) What a great event it was!  New venue. New friends. Great turn out. Raised almost NT$ 4000. Fun! Fun! Fun! For whole family! Jaś was performing on the baritone saxophone (which he borrowed from one of his teachers) and Zosia decided in the last minute to sing a very difficult song from the musical "Newsies". Take a look also at the last year's performance at the Playing for Change Day. CLICK HERE The new Red Room venue is really nice, much bigger than the old one. Hope we can take part in Stage Time and Juice and other activities more often than before.
