Smurfs in Taipei 藍色小精靈

- How did you like like the exhibit? - I asked my 7-year-old. - A lot! - was her answer. - What did you like the most? - EVERYTHING! I think that pretty much sums up the exhibit that is happening right now in Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall 中正紀念堂. Ania has watched the Smurf cartoons and has read the books. Unfortunately she was too small to watch the Smurf movies when they were in the cinemas. Smurf with Pearl Milk Tea  Smurf with chopsticks There is even a large playroom with a few fun games for the kids: Here kids can watch Smurf cartoons:  There is also an interesting part of the exhibit about the French creator of the cute blue creatures, Peyo. Unfortunately I was so preoccupied with explaining everything to Ania, that I forgot to take photos. So if you have a Smurf fan be sure to drop by the exhibit before April 15th, 2018.

2018 Taipei International Book Exhibition

I love books! I love book fairs! I love buying and reading books! Our house is overflowing with books in three languages: English, Polish and Chinese. Polish books I can only buy in Poland, but English and Chinese I can quite easily buy here, in Taiwan. There are a few bookstore chains that carry English language books: Eslite 誠品 , Caves Bookstore 敦煌書局 , Kingstone 金石堂  and also an on-line bookstore books.com.tw . I am a frequent customer of all of them, but I still wait for the Book Fair that takes place every year in February. This year I also went to the Book Exhibition and ended up buying quite a few books for Ania. Take a look at what was added to our bookshelves: ✫ A big book with interesting information about many of the natural wonders of the world: ✫ Two volumes of well known "Goodnight Stories for the Rebel Girls". Each book is full of stories of famous women from different times in history. ✫ Another book from the "Usborn

Słodki ramen DIY

W Japonii można kupić przedziwne jedzeniowe DIY dla dzieci. Kilka lat temu Zosia zrobiła z Jasiem "sweet sushi": A w zeszłym tygodniu pomogłam Ani zrobić "słodki ramen": Instrukcja wykonania była jedynie w języku japońskim, gdyż przywieźliśmy tę paczkę z Japonii. 1. Wyrabiamy gumę do żucia i oddzielamy dwie małe kuleczki i dwie większe. Małe kuleczki mają być wielkości małych kółek na pustej torebce plastikowej. Większe należy rozpłaszczyć by były wielkości dużego koła na tej torebce. 2. Wycinamy foremkę do pierogów. 3. Na foremkę kładziemy okrągły pla
