What do I miss from Poland when I am in Taiwan (beside my Mom and friends, of course)?
The FORESTS! Polish forests are so beautiful that it's hard not to miss them. Before my parents moved with 5-year-old me to Warsaw, we used to live right next to a forest. Now again my Mom is living next to a big forest, one that is actually within the Warsaw city boundaries.
On the second day of our stay in Poland we went to the educational and recreational part of the forest. Ania could learn about the plants and animals living in the Polish forests. There were special exhibits, educational boards and other interesting hands-on things to touch. Just see for yourself:
Located in the building below is the Center for Nature and Forest Education. Unfortunately the main activities are organised only during the weekends and we visited the place during the week when it was closed and when there were no other people around.
