Babel School in Taiwan

Wednesdays are usually very busy days for us, especially for me. Right after lunch I put on my "cab driver's" hat and start driving the kids around town for different afternoon classes. I start with taking Jas for his music class, then take Ania for her music class. When that is finished we go to pick Jas up and take him to art class. While he is at art class I so grocery shopping with Ania. Very often I also have to drop and pick up Zosia from different modelling jobs or her dance class. We always eat out on Wednesdays night as I don't have time to prepare dinner at home. But ... today was different. Ania's music class was cancelled, Zosia finished her dance classes so only Jas had music and art class to go to. He is big enough to take bus himself, but he never wanted to do it (his music class is quite far). Today I asked my husband to take the car and drive to the office instead of taking public transportation, so I would have an excuse for not being able to

Zosia's first commercial. Look carefully and you will see her at the very beginning. Zosia says it was an interesting experience for her, she didn't mind the long hours spend on filming, but she doesn't understand why fitting took even longer than filming! For those who don't know HOLA - it is a home deco store, you can buy anything for home there -  dishes, lamps, furniture and much, much more.

2nd Tuesday of each month is a special day - a homeschooling group outing. Unfortunately in the past few months nobody was interested in organising these outings ... Sad, but true. Our family used to be in charge of these outings for the past 6 years and decided that it is time for someone else to take over and ... none, out of over a hundred families, was intereted in organising the outings. Finally last month a future homeschooling family offered to help with 2nd Tuesdays. Their first outing was a blast! Just take a look at the photo album below: In the Butterfly Garden in Shilin you not only can admire the beautiful butterflies and learn about them, but can also climb and the ropes and nets, make pizza and play in the water. It's a great place for an outing for kids (and adults) of all ages.
