Teaching alphabet I - Plasticine (or play-dough) letters

It's hard to believe, but there was time, not that long ago, that Ania did not recognise letters. In the next few posts I will go back the memory lane and show you how I worked with her teaching her letters.

Ania likes playing with play-dough a lot, so why not let her make some letters with play-dough? I first wrote the letter on a piece of card and then showed her how to make a long "snake" rolling the play-dough on the table.

Next Ania was to twist the snake into the letter shape and press it onto the paper.

And voila - the letter is all done!
